When uploading files, adherence to a few simple rules will eliminate most problems.

- PDF files are preferred for text body. Whenever possible, supply one PDF for the entire text body. Embed all fonts and graphics in the PDF.

- Be sure to include all fonts and images when supplying source files. Quark and InDesign have a special feature for doing this:

Quark: File> Collect for Output
InDesign: File > Package

These commands gather all job files in one folder. Compress this folder using either Stuffit (for the Mac) or WinZip (for Windows). When compressing files, please keep the name of the SIT or ZIP short with no spaces or special characters.

After uploading files to King Printing Co., Inc. you should e-mail your customer service representative with the names of the file(s), a brief description, and any special instructions.
